Fledglings!

Congrats to the Snells Beach community and resident tūturiwhatu (NZ Dotterel) CXR and Mate on successfully fledging their three chicks CVC, CVE, and CVH (almost 7 weeks old). All three are flying well and still with their protective parents. The other two chicks (CVJ and CVK) and parents are doing well, the chicks are just over 5 weeks of age, they are still growing flight feathers and just starting on tail feathers. Not long now until they can fly, please continue to give them the space they need to succeed.
